New Beginning

I've spent some time reading many of the messages here and feel this is a good and healthy place to be. There is love, caring, understanding, encouragement here, as well as plenty of faith. At the age of 52, I must say that being attracted to boys is not a new realization. It has been something I have hidden since I was a teenager. Only recently, have I found a name for it, and places where people who share the same feelings exist. Thank God I found you. I have visited other boards and even shared some thoughts, but here I feel more at home because there is some connection with my faith. Many of you have shared your struggle and acceptance of sexual attraction to boys, while keeping boys safe and keeping hands off. Part of the work I do is working with boys on a daily basis. I keep my attraction in check and am able to help boys be more successful and stronger in their daily lives at home and school. Part of my reward are heartfelt hugs and thank yous. There is much I can share, that hopefully will help others. I don't want to use up too much space now, but that will come as I feel led to respond to others. God bless all of you for being here, and helping me know I am not alone. |
