another thought on ginger confession

Going through some of the same feelings with my yf. He has not asked me for money but likes to have me give him things. He uses me and I have been letting him. I know this is not good and MUST STOP. The question is how to do it and still be his friend. I blame part of his wants on immaturity but still he can surely see what he is doing and see that he is hurting me. We must get together and have a heart to heart talk. I want to be his friend but feel like I need to be in charge. Not in charge of him or what he wants but the freedom to choose what I want to do with my time and resourses. Is this being selfish?
