I believe John 3:16 pretty much sums it up for me. Acceptance of Jesus dying for your sins and acceptance that He is your Lord. After that, everything is between you and Him. Romans 10:9-10 also helps make this clear.

Fellowship with other Christians, tithing, studying scripture, praying, ect are all evidence of your faith, but they are not REQUIREMENTS.

If you are truly saved, God will speak to your heart on what you should do. He will not say "Go to church regularly or go to hell." His grace comes simply from our belief, not our acts.
