I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, they are for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. - Jeremiah 29:11 For me, this quote reminds me of my life long desire for boys. It screams at me to remember that these desires can be used to build up and not tear down. These desires can assist a boy into becoming a great pine. These desires can be used to turn a boy's darkest despair (that everyone feels from time to time) into a life in which the boy becomes a shining star. These desires that we have can lead us into helping a boy realize that God ...has plans for him, they are plans for good and not evil, to give him a future and a hope. - back to Jerimiah 29:11 again! Hmm...this quote comforts me. It makes me realize the hope I (with God's help) have for all of the boys I have loved and will love throughout my life. May we remember that the shining star that we see in a boy's eyes, in his heart, in his soul, may NOT be seen by others except God. May God use us to help the boy see that God loves him for God knows the plans He has for the boys we love, they are for good and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope. ~Jerimiah 29:11 (AGAIN!)
