As if long public prayers (I think Jesus said something about these...) justify behavior in any way... As if bringing up good deeds excuses the others of which we are trying to speak here and encourage accountability for. I might as well asy, "Since I sing in the choir at church, my lusts for boys are OK, God will forgive." One has nothing to do with justifying the other! So too encouraging a boy has nothing to do with justifying entertaining sexual lust for him you have to make the effort to be healed, and LEAVE BEHIND those things that encourage that desire. Stop being lazy. God wants to heal, and the only way we negate that is by refusing to participate. |
