It is simply not the Christian way to be unjudging - the Christian way is to challenge the Christian offender about what he has done, in an attempt to draw him back to God. Please don't misinterpret Jesus's words about not judging - (see Mt 7 v1f) but immediately afterwards he tells us not to cast pearls before swine (v6) - how do we decide who are the swine - and in v16 we are told to 'know false prophets by their works' - which we must have judged!! As far as the original article is concerned, of course as usual the number don't really add up - half a million boy prostitutes is a completely over the top claim. But the claim that Kinsey has been misquoted ad infinitum is well made; of course the problem with the rest of the statistics in the article is that they are at least as methodically flawed as Kinsey!! I'd encourage us all to keep our eyes open for the things hinted at, without swallowing the whole thing all at once. |
