I just thought I'd mention this, since many of us seem to forget it.

"...And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost..." (Acts 2).

Even Mary (along with the apostles and several other men and women) waited upon the Holy Ghost and was filled by Him that day (Acts 1:13-14).

As mentioned previously in this forum, there is a move to have Mary recognized as co-Redemtrix (co-Redeemer) with Jesus. It is said that Jesus' blood was the same as his mother's blood; therefore, when Jesus' blood was poured out for our sins, it was also Mary's blood being poured out for our sins, making her our co-Redeemer.

But remember, Mary needed the Holy Spirit just like the rest of us, and she needed a savior just like the rest of us. She is not God and should not be seen equal with God.

I don't and won't make any attempt to resolve the many Marian controversies here. There are thousands of books that debate such things, written throughout the ages by people with much more knowledge and experience than I have. However, I encourage others to rely on the Word of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit to show them the Truth. Peace!
