Yo..not quite sure what you mean. Heterosexual sexual lust is a sin too. It is no different than homosexual lust. Why can't people admit that indeed we all do things that break the two commandments Jesus spoke about:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul
AND
Love one another as I have loved you.

Everyone, in many nonsexual ways, falls short of these commandments. I mentioned the example in the previous post of our cursing in our hearts the guy who cuts us off on the road. My point is that we indeed do many things a day that are not pleasing to God. Hate, lust, drink excessivelly, ect...That is the reason we all need God!

How can we live a fufilled life by acting out our hate to one another? How can we live a fufilled life with guilt about our sexual desires? How can we live a fufilled life by not opening up our hearts and sharing our pain? God breaks us free from sin, so that when we do sin (and we all do in many ways), we realize God forgives us. He wants us to keep reaching for those two commnadments. Indeed, it is an impossible task, yet we should strive to take more steps forwards than backwards.

I apologize if you think I am trying to place guilt on you for being gay. On the contrary, I am saying that in the end, all our issues are unimportant. We shouldn't use our anger to solve problems. We shouldn't feel guilty for things we did (or do) "wrong." We should be set free to shine on.

We are all on a walk with God. At this present moment, I just believe God wants us to do the two things mentioned above, but indeed we tear one another down instead of building each other up. We hate instead of love. We concern ourselves with ourselves instead of finding compassion for others. We judge others instead of realizing we are all in need of God's grace. Well, I hope you understand that by no means was I saying anything about homosexuality or lusting for boys. I am "guilty" of these feelings along with occassional heterosexual feelings. In these moments of lust am I loving God with all my heart and am I loving in the way Jesus loved us? The answer is "No." Should I roll over and die of guilt? Certainly not. God wants us to get up and shine on!

This was my real point: We all "mess up." Even if no one sees our mess ups, they exists. (God sees the things in our hearts that we don't share with the world). I would also say we all are suppose to mess up. Thus, we come to see our need for God's forgiveness and love, so that we might live!

Never would I advocate the persecution of gays, boy lovers, Jews, Blacks, and on and on and on...no, on the contrary, I am advocating love. Hope this clarifies my previous post! Whatever I think each day...whatever I do each day is wiped clean by God's love. I can't be condemed and hung on a cross. I can only rise again and LIVE!

Keep trying to build up and not tear down!
