I've asked this question dozens of times and nobody has even tried to answer. So let me start a new thread and see if one of you will take a stab at it.

For centuries Christians have been using the law to force non-believers to follows certain precepts of their faith. We've been discussing gay rights, but that's just one area where Christians force non-Christians to follow their religion.

Blue laws come to mind as another example.

Why do Christians do this so often and why do they think they ought to have the right?

Why can't Christians simply practice their religion in peace and leave the rest of us alone?
