I don't beleive in the concept.

I have read the Bibe - as I've said before, straight through twice.

The horrible depravity and evilness of the vile actions of your god in slaughtering the Israelites' enemies, destroying the world by water, including drowning to death babies and children, the horrible sadistic nature of setting up rules that your god knows will send people to an eternity of flaming torture makes me so sick to my stomach that I don't know what sort of open mind you want me to keep.

If you have some explanation to offer that would mitigate the sheer horror of it all, please advise me.

Otherwise, another reading is not going to do me any more good that it already has.
