For starters, I feel the need to ask this much - What would y'all think of an older man who knocks up a preteen girl who is *already* in a relationship with a *different* older man? (Does the girl have issues of her own? Mine not to say, but if you'd like to toss your two cents in, go ahead...) From there, what if the guy who was dating this young girl in the first place - himself in his 30s, mind - just shrugs and says "it's all good." Can such a 'swinging' lifestyle be condoned? Or, back to the first person - the one who knocked up the other man's child-girlfriend, can this at all be described as good and right in the eyes of God? Is this situation the epitome of the downfall of traditional values - or does anything go, these days? Furthermore, if this bastard - yes, literally, the bastard from the first act of statuatory rape mentioned, and not any out-of-wedlock bastards which the second man may or may not have spawned - grows up to spend most of his free time with prostitutes, thieves, and the rest of the scum of the earth - is this not proof of the danger which such... 'unconventional'... relations present to traditional values? Does it not show the character of those involved? If - in the company of harlots, mind you - this man then has the audacity to condemn good and righteous men of God, His preachers and His priesthood, mocking them, saying a *child* could do better, is it not simply further proof that these immoral relations stand against God's church? That they will be the downfall of His people? I'm just curious as to the responses I'll get. I look forward to your input. |
