I think one should let God lead in this area. While I believe we should use the gifts God has given us, I also believe there is a time and place for everything. Remember that Moses wasn't used by God for many many years. Maybe people of his day were saying he was wasting his gifts. But he waited on God to lead him. In other words, I don't think we should force ourselves into trying to find a relationship with a boy just because we feel the caring that BLers feel and we see others have successful relationships. It's all up to God as to when, and if we find that boy or boys to mentor. Dakota |
