Do you have the answers I am seeking?

Let me begin by saying that I am not here to start controversy and am only looking for answers to a few questions that I haven't been able to figure out on my own. I was raised in a fundamental Baptist church and have had a problem reconciling my desires with my beliefs. 1.How do you deal with the fact that the Bible teaches that sex should only take place within the marriage relationship? 2.How do you deal with the fact that the object of your affections is enumerated in the list of sexual don'ts contained in Scripture? 3.I believe that God is a forgiving God and that He truly loves each one of us; however, He is still a just and perfect God, Who finds the commission of 'sin' to be untenable and therefore punishable. How do you deal with the fact that your desires are contrary to His will and His Word? Please, any insight would be greatly appreciated. sequestered |
