However I do think that most (most, not neccesarly all) participants believe that the only right context for sex is in a committed relationship. Some believe that that kind of relationship should be in a marriage, whilest others think that a committed gay relationship is within God's will too. This often comes down to a difference in interpretation of Scripture What would be the case, do you imagine, if there was no Scripture? I hope I don't sound irreverent here, I don't really want to be pre-supposing a universe with no God; I suppose what I'm really asking is if the Scriptures are followed because they are God's word - and what God said must be right - or because the Scriptures seem like a good guide to living.
