You are correct. Although I don't hate you, I don't like you or even respect you. But I'm sure you won't lose any sleep over that.

There ARE answers to your questions, but I'm not going to take the time to go into it for 2 reasons. 1) I am not a Bible scholar and am ill equiped to give complete explanations. 2) I still don't believe you want or would accept any explanation given. If I am wrong and you are indeed searching for answers, I suggest self study and talking to some people who are very well studied in the Bible. Don't talk to just one person. And most importantly, talk to God. If you really want answers, He is the one to go to. He will lead you to the answers you need if you keep an open mind. I don't think you can do that, but maybe I'm wrong. I also don't think you have the guts to confront God directly. I believe you are too afraid He will answer you.

In reading the Bible, there are things you have to keep in mind. We do not have the whole story and don't have the perspective of God. The Bible says that we see things as if thru a fog and won't be able to see clearly till we get to Heaven. So I take what I DO know and things I HAVE experienced to base my faith on. The things I do not understand will have to wait till I get to heaven to understand. This is not a blind faith. It's a fact and experience based faith that takes into consideration that I don't know everything and can't possibly understand everything. If you are into the logical and analytical side of sripture, as you seem to be, I would suggest reading "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. I think someone else suggested that also. If I remember right, C.S. Lewis was an athiest and went on a mission to prove God didn't exist, but instead was convinced of His existence and attributes, and became a Christian himself. Of course you can't flame a book, so maybe seeking answers that way doesn't interest you. Maybe you could e-mail his publisher and flame him that way to get your jollies.

A few things to remember.....No one is perfect and no one has all the answers. If you are truly on a quest and not just yanking our collective chains (as I still think you are), remember that you are on the outside looking in. What I mean is that no matter how much anyone explains or describes what is on the other side of the door, there is no way for you to truly know till you step thru the door yourself. And as I said before, asking God to show you, is the best way to get answers. A word of caution, though. God gives you the freedom to choose and will leave you alone if that is what you want. But if you ask Him questions and ask Him to reveal Himself to you, you are giving him permission to answer. And He may not answer in the way you would wish Him to. It may even get downright uncomfortable, especially if God is dealing with a stubborn, pigheaded person. (I'm not naming names) But it's worth it. And if you don't believe God exists, then there's nothing to worry about, right? So how about it? Do you have the guts, or do you want to just go back to yanking everyone's chain?
