Mark 9:43-48 "If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, where 'their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched." Seems to me that Jesus warned us to beware lest Satan (through sin) causes us to be thrown into hell (lose our salvation). Don't let these once saved always saved preachers fool you. The bible is full of teachings about being ever vigilant because Jesus will come like a thief in the night, and you must be ready at all times. It is also full of such teachings like the verses in Mark that I posted, which clearly tell us that we need to turn from sin or risk damnation.
