A wake up call

I know some of you will say that this man was not a boylover. Others may say you would never be capable of doing something like this. But for those of you wise enough to learn from the mistakes of others, take heed. This person appears to be a christian who let his relationship with God falter and decided to come back to God way too late. Who knows if he visited our forum. Who knows if he was once a regular poster, one of those who have vanished not saying where they went. Who knows if he was one of us. In his own words: "I know what I did was wrong," Snooks said before his sentencing. "To me, it was a sin that got into my life and grew out of control. I wanted to get help, but I didn't. "God's forgiven me of my sins, but I know I have to face the laws of man," I feel sad for him, and for those whom he has hurt. His failure to maintain his relationship with God has cost him 14 years of his life, and has undoubtably ruined several young lives. Lets take a moment not only to pray for this man and his victims, but also to learn from this. We must not neglect our relationship with God, the consequences are too great. We only think we are not capable of doing things like this because God is within us, but what happens when you neglect your relationship with God and the holy spirit no longer dwells within you?
