My reasoning is that sexual contact with a minor can really hurt them and mess up their head, and I can't see God giving us something that quite often would cause harm if we were to give in to our desires.

What if sexual expression were no more likely to harm a boy than to harm any other person? It's possible that you've bought into something that isn't true.

Recent studies demonstrate that boys are not very likely to be harmed by having sexual experiences with men.
