Splash,

In reading your posts, I'm often troubled by what you say. I don't like it. I can't say I disagree with your theology, but I'm unsure on my own theology and I'm troubled by the thought that your theology may be right.

I've been struggling trying to understand God's desires regarding my sexual orientation for nearly two years (since I became a Christian). I've gotten nowhere. Several times I've been convinced that any sort of homosexual action or thought is entirely inappropriate; but other times I've been convinced that God wants me to act out my desires.

Others, feel free to respond, but I'm directing this at Splash because he seems to be very firmly set in his beliefs and vocal about them. I know many of you share his beliefs, so I'd like to hear your thoughts as well.

The questions then: how is it that you're certain that homosexual/boylove sexual encounters are wrong in God's eyes? What evidence (biblical, spiritual, practical, etc.) do you have to support this conclusion?

Thanks very much for your help...

-- Derek
