You sure sin only occurs when one actually "acts out?" Is not our thought of hate towards a driver who cuts us off a sin? Why not? Is our anger in our heart pleasing to God? I believe our thoughts are sin. Thus, even if we don't act on our anger, lust, ect, we all sin many times in a day! The real questions: Do we let our sin keep us seperate from God? Do we allow our sins prevent us from living? Do we allow it to suffocate us? Or do we accept grace and forgiveness and shine on despite our imperfections? Do we choose to continue the fight of taking more steps forwards than backwards? Do we rise up despite our faulty thoughts and actions? In short, do we accept God's love and continue to try to please Him despite the reality that we will always fall short of His desired perfection for us? ~Once a Boy |
