Lets get this right, Im not trying to "save" you as someone said before, nor am I trying to condemn you. I am however, trying desperately to understand this notion of being a "christian pedophile". Let me put it this way, how can we claim to be Gods children and yet, continue to live in sin? How can we be a christian and yet, choose to live by the desires of the flesh? If we are indeed true christians (me included) we must, "abstain from (our)sinful desires" (1Pet 2:11). If we are indeed children of God then, we must live by the spirit and not the flesh and in doing so, we have "put to death the misdeeds of the body" (Rom 8:13). Therefore, how can anyone claim to be a believer and yet, continue to live by the flesh? We are to relinguish the flesh, we are told not to conform to the evil desires of the flesh (1Pet 1:14). Surely, pedophillia is of the flesh, not of God. If someone lives by their desires, they will surely die! If we choose to indulge in our desires, our fantasies and carvings, whether they be of heterosexual nature, homosexual nature of pedophilliac nature, the principle is the same. There is nothing wrong with loving boys, Jesus himself loved boys, but that love was pure (as ours ought to be)it did not contain an element of lust, a "secret desire" to have sex with the boy. Nor anything that is contrary to the will of the spirit. What if a boy (the cutest, most delightfully charming and overwhelmingly beautiful boy you have ever seen)came up to you and ask you to have sex with him, would you not be tempted? (yes temptation is not a sin) but having immoral, lustful, impure thoughts and desires is) For Jesus himself said, if a man even looks at a women in a lustful way, he has sinned. (my words of course). My question is simple, how can you enage in pedophillia and claim to be christian? If you have chosen to absatin from any form of sexual behaviour with a child and live purely by the spirit, then I can accept that you can be a christian. But being a christian is to "put to death" your pedophile (boylove) desires and live by the spirit, not the flesh. That goes for the non-boylover as well, he/she must put to death the desires of his flesh, and live according to the spirit. |
