Thanks for your reply. I do feel the need to clarify though. None of the pics I mentioned are "illegal" whatsoever..they are mostly scans from catalogues or candid pics of clothed kids. However, your point about privacy is well put and that is amongst the personal dilemna I am facing. As a photographer, I do have model releases for many of my pics..but my dilemna is not based on legal or moral issues but on spiritual ones. Is it GOD's WILL for me to share pics of kids to other people who would only treat them as sex objects. I have tons of pics of the kids I have worked with..totally legal, totally decent , totally innocent. I rarely if ever jack off to them because I love them too much to allow that...I have too much respect for them as people to lust after their bodies like they are pieces of meat. The same cannot be said to the 100,000s of other pedos out there who can view the pics. Many of my old "comrades" are pressuring me to share the pics and I have to constantly refuse, out of personal conviction but its hard to say no at times.

In regards to your mentioning of the "food for idols" verse...I understand your point although am not totally convinced that this applies to this context. First of all, erotica, no matter how legal they are, for the pedophile usually promotes the person to lust. Lust then breeds obsession. In short, they are usually, admitedly not always, the starting point for idolatry..using the bodies of children as the idols. As Paul said...everything is permissisable but not everything is edifying. Being consumed by desire to have more and more erotica, as is the usual personal dynamics in most pedophiles is certainly not edifying. THe Biblical view of "lust" is any strong desire that is not in accordance to the Will of God. I don't believe that GOD wants his children to be sexually lusting after the bodies of children. Appreciating their beauty, yes..but sexually lusting after them, no.

I guess if I can sum my question in a mere sentence..it would be "What is God's WILL for the pedophile?". Is it to him to be "cured"? Or is it merely for him to love and lust after kids..or is it for him to be away from kids whatsoever....

Thank you so much for your time

In Christ,
John
